
Jessika brings almost twenty years of experience in nursing, most recently as chief nursing officer at Hillsboro Community Hospital in Hillsboro, Kan. In her time there, Jessika was responsible for managing a 15 bed critical access hospital, encompassing nine departments, including: nursing, wound care, infection control, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, inpatient surgery, outpatient surgery, pain clinic and case management. She assisted in improving patient satisfaction scores year-over-year and successfully implemented electronic medical records in the emergency department and inpatient rehabilitation facility.
Jessika has served at several health care facilities, including Wesley Rehabilitation Hospital and Wesley Medical Center, both in Wichita, Kan.
Jessika earned a bachelor of science from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan. She then went on to earn both a master of business administration and master of healthcare administration from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, UT. She is currently pursuing a master of nursing in adult and gerontology primary care nurse practitioner program from Walden University.
